I am a creative and passionate evangelist for standards-based, user-focused web sites and applications. I have worked in the IT Industry for over 10 years and the Graphics Arts Industry as a whole for over 25 years. Currently, I am the Lead Producer for a web development / hosting company here in Atlanta, Georgia. In the past I have owned a graphic design studio/hi-tech service bureau and organized and managed the growth of three commercial pre-press printing departments. I am a team player that believes in individual leadership and self-motivation, constantly adapting to the ever-changing world of technology.

Current responsibilities include: Designing, architecting, delivering and supporting robust web applications that meet and exceed client marketing and sales objectives, in a word, ROI. Server Administration of a growing 10 server Hosting cluster; Art Director supervising one graphic artist; Lead Web Producer supervising 2 project managers; Acting IT manager which includes advising the company President on all technological questions concerning current sales, future sales growth and future infrastructure growth.

Marietta, GA - 1996 to 1999

Graphic Fusion operated as a design studio and a hi-tech color service bureau for the printing trade. We specialized in print design doing catalogs, brochures and all manner of print collateral sales material.

Pre-Press Manager, Color Graphics
Atlanta, GA - 1990 - 1996

Managed the "Mac Department", or the digital pre-press department for Color Graphics, at that time, one of the premier commercial printers in Atlanta. Supervised over 10 employees across 3 shifts.

Skills

Currently I am architecting applications with UML and developing with PHP, AJAX, Flash and MYSQL. I have over 14 years experience with HTML/CSS programming and associated technologies using AJAX, JavaScript, PHP, MYSQL, SQL, ASP and PERL. I have 8 years experience with Adobe Flash and Action Scripting. I am a digital imaging expert with 15 years experience in the commercial printing industry. I have 25 years experience with all manner of publishing applications including Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator, In Design, and Quark-Express. I have 6 years experience as a Linux/Apache Web Server System Administrator.
