I am a creative and passionate evangelist for standards-based, user-focused web sites and applications. I believe more than ever that user experience is the key to successful web application development. With technologies like AJAX, XML and Flash, there has never been a better opportunity to create "Rich Internet Applications" that deliver highly usable and interactive user interfaces. In light of these developments, I bring a unique combination of experinece and talent to the RIA equation: I have worked in the Graphics Arts Industry for over 25 years as a Graphic Designer, Typographer, Commercial Printing Pre-press Engineer, Hi-Tech Service Bureau Technician and most recently in the IT industry as a Web Designer and Application Developer / Programmer. "Strategy -> Tactics -> Design -> Development" describes my work approach.
In my spare time, I am an avid songwriter, bluegrass musician and all around mountian man that loves camping with the family in North Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina.
